This generator is inspired by the principles of use of ^99mTc generators. The eluate of the generator - gallium chloride solution (⁶⁸Ga) - is used for the in vitro radiolabeling of different kits/molecules of radiopharmaceutical preparations developed for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging.
